I am expecting (in what order, I don't know): 1) The Papoose from MWoody 2) The Millenium for Fugot 3) The WRB from Weaser 4) A new laptop from work (FINALLY! The old screen came unhinged and flops around like an old man in a steam room) ((did I just say that??)) 5) misc. ebay parts - I was expecting a set of 12 string gold mini-schallers, but they seem to have disappeared off of the back seat of the seller's car prior to shipping! She did however immediately refund the $. The Papoose was planned - the Mill and WRB came up suddenly. The only word that comes to mind is "Blessed". I am putting a locking cover on the gas meter for awhile (for Mark's sake, awhile means a period not less than 6 months, not to exceed 9 months  ) Thanks again to all for this obsession.

It is surpisingly loud too. It's louder than the '05 collectors with medium strings. It's extremely easy to play - nice action. Up close, the top is pretty funky looking - the top is smooth, but you can see where the paint/finish seeped into the carbon fiber. The inlays are gorgeous and the abalone purfling look really nice with the cobalt blue top. It's better than I hoped it would be. Fugot - thanks again for this opportunity!

Another reason to envy CrimsonLake besides the acquisition of these fine guitars (I could give a rats about your laptop) is that the GAS attack only stops for 6 to 9 months. I think I'd have to go longer than that. I hope to find out the length of the period of remission (there is no cure) caused by the OFC guitar.

Don't get me wrong... If it was at all possible, my order would have already been in with Al for s/n 5 to go along with #47. My birthday is in sept - so 6 to 9 months is between my birthday and Christmas. I think that's long enough! The tax man btw is getting a big chunk out of my butt this year. The millenium purchase was the result of having to liquidate some stock that we recieved from a life insurance lawsuit settlement... or at least thats what the large print said...

And if you think you have cured your GAS, wait till you sample the fare in the lobby and at the factory. You are going to "be there".... right???

The plan is definitely to bring the WRB and at this point the Millenium is my new favorite so yeah - I'll bring it. I've heard you guys describe the lobby scene... I can't even imagine.

Unplugged, this thing sounds fantastic - it's exactly as Fugot described it - it sings. But plugged in... I was almost speechless (and I don't say alot to begin with!). In my limited experience with O preamps, this is by far the best sounding one. I've had the OP24+ on a celebrity - and I liked that one alot - sounded great plugged in - nice and loud. I have the OP Pro in the '05 collectors. I don't know if it's me, but this one doesn't do it for me. I have to crank it way up just to reach the same levels that I reach on the 2nd or 3rd notch on the other two. They liked it so much that they asked me to play in the bell choir - well that and they were short a few people. I only have one note though - high G. It was nerveracking trying to make sure that I hit my one note on time. A couple of pics coming soon.
