Location: Warren,Pa. | I have plans for my '97 Collectors. No sound ports, though.
I just got an OpPro module (?) on ebay. Now I need a can and 1/4"+XLR output.
The electronics developed a problem the last time I went to plug n. I thought about sending it in to have it fixed. Then I said to myself "You don't like this setup. Nobody likes this setup. Why are you gonna pay shipping +whatever to restore a system you don't like?"
So I emailed a little with Kim and felt emboldened to take on the whole project myself. I even get to use the new cordless Dremel I bought last month!
I know it's sort of a sacrelidge (sp) to do this kind of thing to a collectors, but when that one went on ebay with the Optima last week or so it started a fire in me that I couldn't put out.

Location: Athens, GA & Gnashville | Whatever he'll do under warranty. I bought it new. I've had a good relationship with the O people since about '78, so we'll see.
I'm hoping for Kate Blanchett! |
