Location: Warren,Pa. | When the OpPro first came out, I asked" why no notch filter?"
I never got a real answer, but I've had OpPros since they were introduced and I have NEVER had a feedback issue. Never had to back off my volume, never had to back off on anything.
Why is that? |

Location: Scotland | It suspect it has little to do with the preamp. It's down to the guitar, the room, the sound system, the volume level onstage, proximity to monitors, drums and backline amplification and a ton of othr variables. It's really impossible to make a valid comparison unless you have 2 similar guitars in exactly the same situation. |

Location: Warren,Pa. | When I had Optimas...or any other preamp, I had feedback issues with every guitar. I could always correct it so it wasn't really a problem. And it's been the same exact playing situation for years. Guitars with OpPros have been the only big change.
I thought maybe they put something into the mix to fight feedback.
Maybe I'll ask Kim.
Then again...You probably know more than him about any of this stuff Paul. |
