OK, here's me. There's two acoustic tunes. "Theme From an Imaginary Spaghetti Western" features my CS257 plugged in and miked as well. "Judge Not Lest Ye Be Judged" features my beat up 1117 Legend miked up (with a junk mic), and also myself on bass and drums with brushes.

That was recorded using a Kala Tenor cutaway with GHS strings just recorded straight with 1 mic and no effects. Dave

Nah, I had Home Studio and they offered an upgrade to Sonar for something like $75. so I did it. The sad thing is that I use about two percent of the programs capabilities (yeah, I know, it SOUNDS like it - shut up Cliff) ...

Hey, Cliff remember when we were recording at my place and we had that bad mic cable? Well, I finally said this is BS and I threw away all 4 mic cables and bought some high end chi-chi things that cost more than some guitars I've owned. And guess what - the problem was the L channel input jack on the interface board !!! So, now I got a new breakout box to go with the NOT NEEDED new mic cables. In the famous words of Phil Mickleson "I am such an idiot".

I'm the same way with Cubase...lucky to tap even the slightest bit of it's potential.

Same with Microsoft word...lots of features but as long as it spits out the alphabet, that is all I need.
