To answer the OP's question, though...I do like nice things. But, I have, for instance, a nice sounding guitar that I bought in 'well played' condition (which I was specifically looking for). I could have it refinished so it would be all nice and shiny like new, but...it's more important to me that it sounds and plays well. |

Location: Copenhagen Denmark | Okay..I am fed-up with the color black, nearly everything comes in black, speakers, mics, cables etc. Soo...I`ve painted the meshgrill on my mics. in gold..blocking out not to paint area`s with masking tape, sprayed a micro-thin layer of gold, wait an hour, repeat, wait an hour..did that 5 times..then a micro-thin layer of transparent laquer, wait an hour, then gold again, did that a few times..then again a transparent layer, waited 10 min., and then gold....dried for 1 day,the whole process took 3 days, but it was worth it,I have done this with 3 of my mics., more will follow....allso,did that with the speakergrill of my basscombo :D
