Location: New South Wales, Australia | It's late at night here...I'm watching a blood and guts Japanese samurai movie on TV and just noodling around with my guitar and my mind started to wander.
I've got an old Dean Markley acoustic sound hole pickup and I'm wondering what would happen if I attached it to my 1860 and plugged my guitar pickup into one amp and the Dean Markley into another.
Could this do any damage to the guitar's pickup or preamp or would one pickup cancel out the other?
My wife thinks I'm weird. |

| You'd have a stereo guitar. No different to acoustics that come with a Fishman mic/under-saddle set up that you mix on board. Loads of people have done it - try it. It will only work really well with 2 amps, but 2 channels should work as well.
Are you on your own or are you allowed to sit and play your guitar while the tv's on? Drives everybody else in the house crazy when I do it. And I don't mean crazy with delight. |

Location: New South Wales, Australia | It's nearly midnight here Schroeder. Wife and kids are all in bed and I'm playing quietly with my fingers. But there's been many times when I've been given "the look" during the early evening and I realise it's time to slink away before I get into any more trouble. |

Location: Upper Left USA | A) You would have two chords to trip on. Stay on the couch.
B) Stereo output on the cheap.
C) It works in the Northern Hemisphere just fine but because the mojo rotates the other way down under it might have some anomolies.
D) Severe risk of not having your mouth move along with the dubbed in sub titles is the biggest risk I see in your situation. You may end up having a glorious fight to the death with your nemesis only to realize that you are both willing to sacrifice all for honor and the woman you love. |
