I always liked "Sounds of the Studio".

Something/Anything and Another Live were great albums, once you got past all the reincarnation mumbo jumbo.

I've only seen Rundgren once(and he was quite good).

A bunch of years ago there was a tour called "A Walk Down Abbey Road", a band of different musicians playing(together) Beatles' songs:

Rundgren, Alan Parsons, John Entwhistle, Jim Keltner, Ann Wilson from Heart, David Pack from Ambrosia, and a few others who are lost in the fog of my memory.

Quite a good show. It was cool to see a bunch of top-notch musicians that were able to switch off on guitars, keyboards, etc.
A couple of the highlights were "Fool on the Hill" with Todd on vocals/piano and Parsons & Wilson on flutes, and the last half of the last side of "AbbeyRoad" (which was the finale).

Rundgren was pretty adept and versatile.
(First half of the show consisted of everyone in the band doing their own songs).

TR has done a lot of incredible stuff with a lot of incredible people, but I think his work on Bat Out of Hell was the pinnacle.

I don't wanna work, I wanna bang on the drum all day.

I saw Utopia on the bill with Led Zeppelin at Knebworth in 1979. At one point all 4 band members moved around the stage, each taking over the others' musical instrument. So guitar to bass to keyboards to drums. Very impressive. Sadly Todd's hair (pink) clashed with his shirt (different pink). Still a great show though (opened with Last of the New Wave Riders I remember)
