Ok, so I am new to the board (6 months) and didn't realize , until too late, about the OFC Tour and get together. And now that I am hooked here, and have traded and bought a few Ovations, ordered a couple of Tour CD's, and have seen your ugly faces, I am already feeling left out of next weekends events. Yeah, yeah, I don't want to hear about "your problem that you can't come" or "you are a newbie, who gives a rat's ass" or "we are better off without you" or whatever else you poets come up with!

You ALL are the ones that have fed this addiction!

SO, give a brother a break and at least post a few pics and or witty comments while you are there so that I don't have to start into a twelve step program. "hi, I am BegginJm and I am an Ovationholic".

I am sure that the rest of us will carry on conversations about the available guitars on eBay, musical artists that have passed, telling other newbies our skewed opinions on arcane topics. etc.

Oh well, I hope that you have a great time (not really) without the rest of us. Maybe we can save and plan better for the next tour. I am sure that you will have forgotten about this post by then.

Until then... "Hi, I am BegginJM..." ;)

offense not taken. that condition happens to most people who are from the mainland or elsewhere in the wide, open spaces that come to live here for a few years. we call it "rock fever". i've never experienced that condition. perhaps, if i lived in honolulu i would have a different diagnosis.

Jim, several of us take laptops (me, for one) and frequently post pics of the goings on. As I'm not filming this year, it's the least I can do.

That's the least Waskel can do.

His bandmates are another story altogether...

Y'know, at Bike Week in Sturgis they have Sturgis-cams scattered around town. You can go online, and watch people puke LIVE!

All y'all techno-geeks need to hook something up for the Po' Folk.

Failing that, bring home lots of pictures!

Maybe if I wasn't looking out the back window at the backed up traffic jam on H-1 and 78 merging for a couple miles down to Aloha stadium I'd feel differently. But this @#$@@@ happens three times a day, every day of the week. Cars need to be outlawed on the islands and troller cars or something put in instead.

"Rock Fever", I like that... :)
