I'm looking for a good classical for recording and hoping for some input/comparisons on the classical A/E's on the market
I know Ovation has classicals called "Folklore" and "Country Artist", however I don't like folk and I don't like country :p
Any input would be appreciated |

Location: Capital District, NY, USA Minor Outlying Islands | They are a misnomer. The CA should be called the latin, tex-mex, jazz model. Played live and plugged in, you could not find a better guitar for that use. I found it a good combination with songs involving horns, such as el paso, city cruise or ring of fire, or for a latin / brazil grove, like Girl from ipanema, oye como va, or suite:judy blue eyes.
Your taste may vary.
Can't make any comment on the folklore. |

I played TRboy's folklore (1614 I think) at the Sourthern Ovation Jam, and it was my favorite of the bunch from the first strum. I warned him to keep a close eye on it should it come up missing :D .
Anyway, HEY from the Crystal Coast of North Carolina! The weather is here I wish you were beautiful.
Another week in paradise sittin' in the sun, swimming in the ocean, a little kayaking, and plenty of strummin'. I'm working on the finger picking too.
Next week, back to the grind, but let's not dwell on that subject.

I play CSNY on my pseudo-strat, so... |

Location: ranson, wva | the folklore is NOT a classical. its a steel string. also they are verry fine guitars. the counry artists are fine too. i played mine with the band several nights a week and it was great.
