I hate this feeling of inadequacy when I watch you guys that do stuff like that!

You guys have a great rapport. Way too cool.

Luckily for the rest of us, your vocals need work! :D

Hey just noticed this! Very nice gentlemen. That was enjoyable to watch. Nice act you have there. You both seem quite well matched, talent and style and excellent guitars. I was working with my partner Aaron for a while and we had a couple of nice original pieces of similiar style we were/are working on but our Duo kept heading to the cover songs where we could use a drummer and it sounded better for me to hit the bass so the whole thing turned into a trio and now a four piece.
In our area there are no Acoustic Duo's worth mentioning, your act surpasses what we were shooting for! and we are pretty good.
I tip my hat gentlemen! Very entertaining.

curious? were you runnning through the amps while recordig that externally?? or was the through a board or what?? Love the sound.

It's wonderful to be able to share our stuff this way; talk about "broadcasting yourself"! Thanks for the feedback... wow!

After meeting on this site a year ago, Jeff and I soon learned about the L1 (with a lot of help from Paul T's posts). So that's what we are playing through. We were recorded with a couple of mics "straight from the air" by a friend in the club. I run my Legend [Fishman Matrix pickup] through a Magistomp which I bought on Schroeder's recommendation. I'll let Jeff tell you about his Alesis reverb and Roland syth rig: too cool!

There is a lot of good information on this site no doubt. I like the sound I get with my Adamas's with upgraded electronics right through my acoustic amp. I have experimented with adding an instrument Mic run through the board that fills out the acoustic sound real nice but feedback is still a problem for me this way???? Your sound is fantastic at least through the little computer speakers I have. Must be really impressive live.

You have me working on the originals again guy's ! can't tell you how nice that was to see, I was not expecting this to be this good.

Thanks, Randy, the feedback means a lot to us--especially from fellow Ovation slingers! Jeff and I started out playing through stereo acoustic amps (I, for example, would use a Crate Acoustic and a Fishman Loudbox). Besides being cumbersome it was a complex set-up that seemed to give different results every night. With the Bose we have uniformity and clarity. It looks like a stick but sounds awesome. Earlier in the month we had the opportunity to play through TWO of them. What a sound.

Thanks for the possitive feedback guys, seems to me that the ovation is the only way to go to play this kind of music, any other guitar produces a thin sound when you go to the higher register stuff and the O has that undeniable evenness across the fret board, and because Im playing thru the Roland GR-1 it has an extra thickness with a fretless bass supporting my low end.The factory installed GK-2 was and is the best guitar purchase I have ever made.(Dont know why I cant get one installed on my ADII?)Al D did! anyhow......Thanks Jeff
