I stopped by last weekend and tried out one and I didn't see the attraction. granted I only play acoustic, and I play left handed. So I plug this thing into some type of amplifier and start to play the two or three songs I can play righ handed but I couldn't get it to sound anything like an acoustic guitar. could very well have been operator error. Also, I noticed the toggle switch is identicle to the one on my grandmother's blender. What's up with that?

The price of the guitar last weekend was $2,300 at the GC in Atlanta, they sent me an email telling me about the sale this weekend. Anyway, I won't be buying one at any price. (glad I didn't buy it for $2,300 though if everybody else is selling them for $1600) The whole "crossover" thing seems odd to me. It's almost like Schwinn making a Harley Davidson look alike that can be peddled or ridden like a motorcycle (although I never found the pedals) But that's what makes the world go round I suppose.

The VXT was not something I even cared about prior to the OFC tour. But, having a chance to hear Temp wind one up, then Kim and others blast away on one at Stonge's house I can honestly say that I have an interest. If only there were a -4 somewhere. OTOH, there are a lot of guitars our there in that price range that I'd like to have, too.
