Location: Alberta, Canada | When tuning your O's that are A/E, do you prefer to tune unplugged or plugged-in? Do you find a difference in the time it takes to tune? Do you think plugged-in is more accurate?

Location: Round Rock, TX | I'm usually plugged in, but muted and using the built-in tuner. It's not an accuracy issue. I just don't wanna make the customers/congregation listen to me tune. |

Location: Keepin' It Weird in Portland, OR | Using a digital tuner? If it is plugged-in, I would guess you would hafta make sure the EQ is zero-ed out, or off. I use a tuner, acousticly. Or I pluck an E off of my other guitar, the do 55545. (acousticly)
I'm guessing none of this matters if you are using the built-in tuner. |

Location: Tennessee | I've been working on the Matt Smith tuning method. Really. Did one last night in a room full of people and some other players thought it was very cool. |

Location: Tennessee | Sure. Listen to another persons guitar (or single string) and then tune your open strings by ear. Strat playing and adjust as needed. |
