Location: Lakeland, FL | Hello ... I'm new to the forum and would like to ask a couple questions.
I have a vintage balladeer (1967-68) that is in excellent shape. No cracks, only slight bowing on the sonudboard, and still plays VERY well. I'll post some pictures, but assuming that it is what I think it is, what value shuold I put on it for insurance purposes?
My other question may be a bit obscure. I own a pair of Ovation loudspeakers that are at least 40 years old. They contain 2 horns and four 12" speakers. I used them throught the 70's and early 80's. Currently they are in storage, so I don't have a model number. But if anyone here knows ANYTHING about vintage Ovation speakers (or can direct me to someone who does) I'll get the model number and pics.

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | I agree with Alpep. I own a bunch of OEM Ovation speakers (raw speakers), many New Old Stock. I have been meaning to verify the production numbers but just haven't had a chance. |

Location: Lakeland, FL | Hey, thanks for the information! The cabs are K-6801-S designed, apparently, to be used with a hi-freq horn cab and preamp for organ. When I got them way back when, they had been used as PA cabs which is what I used them for as well. They worked really nicely and handled pretty decent SPLs.
Any idea what their value may be? Believe it or not, they still work pretty well. I'll post pics as soon as I can get to them.
