I really like the top one, flows nice through the bridge area, shame to cover it with a pickguard tho.. too bad it's not a cap.. could backroute it for the control cav then. go with the piezo bridge and something sweet/clean at the neck for your jazzy moments.. or two nice hums of your choice and crunchiness.. mix it all up, and season/blend to taste. looks good woody. The plan for now is to top a 4 board Maple Viper (with issues) and not use a pickguard. Access through the back and volume, tone, Piezo/mag blend, mag blend and output coming though the top. I may even finda Mahogany slab to chamber and sandwich between. We'll see what comes together. | ||
