`F Course the True troubadour is the VW TRANSPORTER,High on it`s wheels, with a seat as straight as a dinnerchair,a steeringwheel lying reasonably flat ( so that one can lean on it ) it moves a couple of subwoofers, instruments, active tops, drums on the roofrack, gasfires and kitchensink ,and a bunch of merry people, and a couple of cases of anti-thirst...and I have to sell it...(sob)..

Actually I don't know what we're all bragging about - waskel rides a motorcycle bigger than our cars.

What would you expect? CB1000's are sport bikes, certainly not intended for touring.

After 7 hours on mine I don't feel that much different than 7 hours in a car, unless the weather is bad.

... notice the vehicle towing it has been neatly cropped-out.

Yah, they're chaps, ya maroon.
Full leather pants can give one monkey-butt on warm days.

That car rocks. I dig the Volans. We had a 2004 V70R for a weekend but decided to return it. It was too much car for the Mrs to use as a daily driver. 300hp with 40 series tires.... no way. We settled on an '05 XC70 and the woman loves it.

Tupperware! Thanks for the emblem. we took possession of the car and pulled a carfax on it before we went down to pick it up... apparently somewhere between 142000 in may of last year and the current read of 153140 which was recorded may of this year.. the odometer and trip meter stopped working.. the electronic readout still works as does the speedo.. actual mileage on the car is 158000.. so it is down at the Volvo dealership in Vero Beach having a very tiny gear replaced in the speedo.. which involves tearing out the whole front dash to fix..apparently a VERY COMMON problem with these... the dealer took another 300 off the purchase price, and is splitting the repair with us. so will have less than 3k in it.

I'm happy.

it is very fast... scary fast for a wagon. the turbo lays you back nice.

congrats glenn!

We had the sedan. Great car. I love Volvos.

Just a few things learned along along the way.

The coolant recovery tanks would develop a leak along one of the seams. The tank was under preasure. The manual mentioned to check under the hood when you filled up with gas... so if you noticed the level going down, it was not a big deal. You'd figure out you needed a new plastic tank... a relatively cheap do-it-your-self part. If you miss it and let the recovery tank go dry, the next thing you'll know is that the top of the radiator fills with steam and the preasure blows off one of the radiator's side tanks. The side tank splits-off at the top spraying steam and coolant up. I'd be careful opening the hood if you suspect an overheated radiator.

Replaced the turbo once. After that, our mechanic had us run a straight weight heavier oil during the warm weather.

Don't turn off traction control if you have a heavy foot going around corners.
