Location: Marlton, NJ | For anyone who was a Yankee fan in the 70s and 80s (or the 60s and 90s for that matter!) - Phil Rizzuto died today. He was alot of fun to listen to his game calling (or lack thereof).
For those of you who aren't Yankee fans - he was the voice of the baseball announcer in Meatloafs "Paradise By The Dashboard Light". |

Location: Rego Park, NY, | Holy Cow!!! rest in peace Phil. Back in 1994 I made a trip to Cooperstown. It just happened to be induction weekend and Phil was being inducted. He was doing a signing at on of the stores. I didn't get an autograph. I have a picture of his display at the Hall Of Fame. I knew I should have gotten his autograph during the drive home. Frank Messer and Bill White were part of his broadcasting team. |

Location: East Tennessee | RIP "Scooter" Go play a little baseball with Mickey and the others.
I remember watching the Yankees and the Dodgers play in the World Series AKA The Subway Series.
Back then they were baseball players not multi million dollar pampered crybabies.
