Randi,#47 is special !! :) Ahrg..that new "nick "..one day I was making fun of Adamas guitars...changed my nick accordingly,and could Not change it back,I asked Al..asked Miles ...but am still stuck with it..Pretty COOL eh..

I don't think I'm qualified to make a decision on this one. I haven't played every model yet (:

My cedar-topped Elite has a really nice warm tone. When I had my 1537 I even thought the cedar top sounded better. (I know...that's blasphemy) I really like the sound of the Adamas II I have also, and am planning to procure an Adamas I and make a comparison, but there is a completely different sound between the Adamas and an Elite. I can't say one is better than the other, just different. Both guitars are phenominal though, and I would be so bold as to say they play and sound better than any Martin, Gibson, Taylor, or Laravee that I've ever played or heard.
