My cedar-topped Elite has a really nice warm tone. When I had my 1537 I even thought the cedar top sounded better. (I know...that's blasphemy) I really like the sound of the Adamas II I have also, and am planning to procure an Adamas I and make a comparison, but there is a completely different sound between the Adamas and an Elite. I can't say one is better than the other, just different. Both guitars are phenominal though, and I would be so bold as to say they play and sound better than any Martin, Gibson, Taylor, or Laravee that I've ever played or heard. |
