I have recently acquired an ovation 1990 celebrity guitar. It is in very good shape, however, there are cracks in the binding that run up and down both sides of the neck. Was wondering if there were some “how to videos“ floating around on how to fix something like this. I’ve seen a couple of generic videos that show techs putting small pieces of binding into acetone until it softens enough and then they fill in the cracks, but just wanted to see if there were any other astute recommendations here before I tried that.
