Hi,
what do you think about creating "sound bank" of our guitars? it'd help us to buy guitars on e-bay or sth, because we would know that for example 1112 sounds like these, 1621 like these etc.
everyone who want's to share sound of our guitars would upload 1 or 2 files with sound of his guitar - few simple chords, maybe some fingering etc.
what do You think?

A sound bank is only as useful as the recording techniques and playback gear. There's a lot of variation to consider. Plus, playability is such a big factor in instrument choices, too. If the instrument won't fit my hands, what it sounds like won't make me buy it. It'd just end up sitting in the case.

All you have to do is convince Miles to record samples of all his electrics, and Al to record every acoustic he has or that someone orders. That would give consistency and variety. This is easy for me to suggest since I wouldn't have to do any of the work!
