| Hi, new member, looking for some information about these. I mostly play acoustic 12-string but am thinking of an electric and there's someone selling an Ovation Preacher 12 string a couple hours drive away. Looks like it's in good shape. I've seen reviews that say the build quality on Ovation electrics is great. But most Preacher reviews are about the six-strings, and generally don't have much good to say about the pickups - which IMO would probably be crucial to a good clean 12-string sound. Thoughts? Anyone have a Preacher 12, play one, what do you think? Are the pickups not great, if so is there a reasonable fix? Any other high points or things to watch out for?
