Location: Ontario, Canada | Probably a longshot but I might as well put it out here. It's my dream guitar (big Kyuss fan), I know there's the Eastwood GP reissue (which happened to be made not far from where I live) but I'd love to own an original.
I just missed out on one on eBay, being in Canada screws me over when it comes to things like import charges.

I knew a man who owned one of these, and he got it from an ad in the local newspaper, (The Ottawa Citizen in my case), just before things like Kijiji and Reverb took over on the internet, and I tried it out. The Ovation Ultra GP is Strat clone, w/DiMarzio Pickups, and a Kahler tremolo. The Eastwood copy is an Ovation GP clone, similar to a DC Les Paul. Try your local Kijiji site, so you don't have to worry about. "import charges", from E-bay. I found my Ovation guitar on Kijiji Ottawa/Gatineau.
