| Hi ALL Just scored this guitar and thought I would share it with you, as I have never seen one like this. https://www.leboncoin.fr/instruments_de_musique/1965164987.htm?ac=1481102916 The soundhole label clearly says 1624, but the fretboard is not the usual black piece of ebony. A special run or whatever? What are your thoughts? Nice guitar BTW. |

Location: Pueblo West, CO | Nice guitar. Of all the nylon string Os I've played I like my 1624 best.
It's got the best balance of tone between wound and plain strings I've heard.
It looks to me like someone had the fretboard inlaid with pattern similar to steel-string Os.
The dots and diamonds are smaller than standard and are spaced further apart.

| I didn't notice that the inlays actually look smaller, good point. I thought it was a special Run or a special order or something like that.
Thanks for your comments! |

Course, just a WAG. |
