When I lived in London, I vaguely remember watching the 1926 classic 'Metropolis' (Fritz Lang) and it had a Pink Floyd soundtrack. I remember being blown away by the experience and I know I'm not imagining it, coz my wife remembers watching it too. I've been searching the web, but all I can find is references to 'synching' certain movies with certain CDs - (ala Dark Side of the Moon and Wizard of Oz)
Has anyone else seen this version? What should I be searching for? |

Location: Caribou, ME | I have two VHS versions, one silent, and one that was released in the early 80s with a modern soundtrack. I don't think it was exclusively Pink Floyd though; seems as though it was many different artists and I don't recall who was on it. One thing I noticed was that one version is listed as being a few minutes longer than the other.... probably of no consequence.
You can probably do an ebay search; I'm sure there are plenty copies out there. |
