I think it them went to Sligoman. After that???? One of those guitars you can't get out of your head. If you have it and would be willing to let it go, please drop me a line. Thanks, Brad Edited by BluesSailor 2017-12-16 7:44 AM

Old pic... but I still have the guitar.

The bad news is that it's not going anywhere for the time being. At least now I know and communication has been established for the time in the future when she's ready to move.

Glad you found it, Blues, and with that level of determination, I've no doubt you'll find it back in your hands one of these days. And the fact that it's not going anywhere speaks to the guitar as well. Well done.

I once had a black 1687. I had other 1687s, 3 black, one red, all gone, sold, swapped... but I will always remember that special black one. Don´t ask me why but that was the most impressive guitar I ever had. I easily can imagine what BLuesSailor is going through.

She was preowned by a professional and got a lot of play time. She sounded incredible. I bought a 1881-5 in parts (with lost parts and the neck was brocken at the heel) from a pro and the same here, incredible sounding guitar. Fortunately I was able to repair it. All my guitars are hanging in my music room, they are playing with.... Most of the wood toped guitars have nicely opend up but the Adamii need much more time. But when have opened up they are so bright, clear and wonderfull sounding, you can't get them out of your brain. ( I with Karl's)...... but he sold it. Bernie

Bernie I have to admit that I never believed that Adamii would change with the time, but it´s true. I was so unhappy with my 1187 when I got it but I took all my courage, changes strings and really got it to work and is has changed, is ssemed to have been asleep all the time. Maybe it was not played for long before I bought it.
