I like that song.
In fact I'll go out on a limb and say that as much as a '60's, '70's, rock & roll Who fan that I am, there are a lot of country songs, both old & new, that I really like.

Okay, explain the WHO-fan thing, how do you relate to them..??..

Allowing the drummer to be heard on their recordings..

Their attitude of not giving-a-damn`..

Trashing of instruments..

Or, the simple fact that you could "relate to them"..(as that would be in my case)..If so...

name their BEST song..

- My Generation - Happy Jack -

...no need for name-calling, neither brow nor ape-shit..

Vic

..that was 1 helluva reminder.. :D

How about I cover the Who thing in a different thread.
I'd rather stick closer to lanaki's subject for now.

Don Williams has a smooth rich baritone voice.

Not a flashy performer but knows how to put a song across to an audience.

I always liked old Don. He had a song called "Broken Dreams" or was it " Tears Of The Lonely' man that was a good tune.
