| Hello all! I have a 2000 W598 with the thin line pickup system. To me it does not sounds as good as the older ones so I want to install the K&K pickups. Which one is the best for the Fan bracing? I have an external preamp/equilizer so a passive system is prefered. Thanks! Ed |

Location: undisclosed | I'd like to see the fan bracing to see where the bridge lies on it but I'd think their pure classic might be a go if there is room for 4 transducers or the pure steel if there is only room for 3. On my Pacemeker with it's bracing I used the Big Twin system with great results, it is posted on the bottom feeding guild area I think. For a conventional 12 string bridge plate bracing they do make a 12 string set up but it is largely for x bracing. All of these pickups are fairly interchangeable with the big difference being size. Mount with Super Glue gel for the most volume and tone. |

Location: NJ | the pickup sits on the bridge plate so I don't think there would be an issue
