| I'm seeing a nut internally that that attaches the neck to the body of the guitar. No allen screw.
I guess filing down he bridge could do it too?
Would have an experienced technician do it at the local Sweetwater outlet, but just want to know if it's even possible.
I want to learn the slap techique but the strings are too high to do so, and the strings could be a little closer to the frets for more comfortable fingering. I do have some fret wear too.
If this has already been covered my apologies, and a link would be great, but I didn't have any luck with a search.

Location: moline,illinois | To adjust the string height the simplest way to lower it is at the bridge,many ovations have shims under the saddle if yours does pull 1 or 2 shims until you get the desired height,action overall is a combination of nut height,saddle height,neck relief and fret condition so there are many things you can check but truss rod adjustments really only affects the bow of the neck and very little on the action,heres a link to a very simple vid to get you started
