| Sometimes, life just deals you a royal flush. SWMBO and I went to Jax today for some shopping. Stopped at a couple of "her" stores, then went to GC and a woodworking store for me. While driving around we noticed a LOT of pawn shops. SWMBO mentioned she'd never been in one, so I stopped at one completely at random. Sure enough, hanging among the wood boxes, was a 12-string 1615 Pacemaker, the only O in the store. No case (cheap gig bag) so I talked the owner down to $290 (from his original $330) and home she came. This is my first experience with the 12th fret-to-body guitars, and boy does she sing! Action is really low for a 12er. Only issues are some surface scuffs, a small ding on the binding, and a finish crack from the bridge almost to the binding. Here are some pics, gotta get back to playing her.
