This guitar was built during the transition phase from the Glen Campbell (deep) Shiny Bowl to the Glen Campbell Artist and it's a mixed bag of old and new which actually makes it a very, very cool guitar. The OLD stuff o 14 degree headstock o dark stained headstock facing o larger sized GC truss rod cover (very rare) The NEW stuff o Artist depth non-shiny bowl o Walnut "winged" bridge o Non inlayed rosette o Artist VT bracing Overall great shape, a few little marks here and there but nothing of substance. A small ding on the back of the neck which you can feel a little bit. No cracks or finish checking on the top. A bit of pitting on the tuners. It looks like the original GC Shiny Bowl neck (heel) had to be cut down a bit to fit the Artist depth bowl attachment and there is a very slight visible line but hardly noticeable. For an almost 50 year old guitar it's really in quite amazing shape. Not perfect, but very very nice. The setup is great and it plays and sounds just like an Ovation should. It is missing the hardshell case and will come in a nicely padded gig bag. I paid $800 for it six months ago but will let it go for a loss just to clear up some much needed space. Price is $550. + you pay S/H to your house. PM me if interested. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

Have checked now and indeed I still have it and it is available for $550 plus the shipping. This is a very early version, serial # E-515 on Bloomfield paper label.
