Location: Marlton, NJ | I wish I was there Al... I've been here in France for a week now. I am having a good time, but I do miss NJ. Wow.. never thought I'd say that!
It is a beautiful place (France that is). I'm on the west coast - Lannion. Everything is so old as compared to the states. And there are so many things that we take for granted that you don't find in other parts of the world. Driving is an adventure... but at least it's on the correct side of the road. I just got back from visiting a few sea side (channel side?) towns. I'll hit a few more places tomorrow. I've never driven a manual car, so I had to find an automatic, which again was an adventure. During the week it was pretty much all work.
Another observation - I don't know how the French stay so skinny for the most part. I haven't had a skimpy meal yet - just about everyone is carrying a loaf of bread. Could be the lack of junk food, though I did see a McDonalds. Anyway.. one more week here. I'm learning a little bit of the language, which helps.
Apologies for hijacking the thread... back to the guitar show! |

Location: NJ | Was planning on coming down Al, just t'say "Howdy!", but I spent Saturday recovering from the previous night's gig (a rough one), and Sunday took some friends visiting from the Ukraine to the beach (water's still warm(ish).
Hope the Show was a good'n . . . |

Location: NJ | Good show.
light dealer and public turnout
Phil showed up on Sunday and it is always a pleasure to see and talk to him.
sold some stuff bought a COOL old altec studio mic.
unfortunately had a guitar broken by some cretin and I did not see him/her/it do it so that kinda put a damper on the whole experience. |
