I also soak my hands and wrists in warm water with epson Salts -it eases the pain ---- works every time. Play on :)

I was reading this thread, and thinking that you cannot have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome at 23, You're way too young! That was until I read what you do for a living! Sorry! I'm getting pains from my age... Sometimes my hands get stiff, but that is mostly the beginnings of arthritis! I take Gilmour's advice... I also soak my hands in warm water. But I don't know if that would do anything for your wrists. Have you tried Advil? (neproxin)(spl chk)

That man has incredible talent and i think he will take my place in band, and maybe i'll switch to more rythm playing. i have never seen person who enjoys playing that much. he's full of positive energy and he probably has ADHD... but... i don't know anyone else who could learn to play on hurdy gurdy in 5 minutes. i will go to doctor on monday.

I`ve been dealing with arthritis and tendon trouble for over ten years. The bad news is they told me then i had about ten years playing time in my hands, the good news is they tell me now i should have ten more but i may be facing surgery. It may never go away but you can get some relief.

Joined: March 2007 Posts: 665 Location: Tychy, Poland | i will sell my electrics, because none of them could match - comfort wise - neck of my Legend. when i was in guitar shop today i've found very good guitar (for it's price) with very thin neck - it's a samick Torino 4 [or sth like this] - duncand designed humbuckers, gold grover tuners etc, and all for less than 400$ (at first, there was no price sticked to this guitar and i thought it's at least 3 times more expensive). i think i'll buy it, throw out that "duncan designed" humbuckers, throw in "regular" seymour duncans, both with ability to split coils. btw. now i know why that strat i've sold was worth so much - i didn't even feel that i was playing on it. now i feel every single note :-(
