Location: Birmingham, AL | I need to make a truss rod adjustment on my Adamas. The adjustment nut is so far away from the rear access that I am having a hard time finding out what size wrench I need to fit the truss rod nut. I think it is a 5mm?
Also if any of you have done this does it require a special tool other than a really long Allen wrench? I can't get my arm far enough in the body to try to use a regular Allen wrench with any control and I can't see what I'm doing anyway.
Headstock truss rod adjustments make so much more sense like on my old O's. Takes about one minute to tweak one that way.
I don't know why everyone went this way other than it looks nicer.
Anyway any advice will be appreciated. |

Yes, it just needs to be a long-reach wrench. You can contact Al Pepiak at Lost Art Vintage Instruments. He has them available for $10 + shipping. See: http://www.lostartvintage.com/Categoryinfo.aspx?categoryid=11&categoryitem=118&itemid=710&country=us Or you can order them from him via eBay for $13.
