Brian & I took a run at that song but without some kind of percussion behind it, it sounded kinda lame.

strum-slapping the guitar works well for the percussion on this. or muffling the bass strings with the palm as donovan does in this clip.

I forgot all about Donovan! Saw him at a Yes concert back in 77, haven't heard of him since??
Nice to see he's still around he had a band then and was actually good. not my style music really but they sounded great.
