Location: Texas | Simply, the coolest Ovation model for me...the 1984 Collectors edition.
After having the pleasure of owning many Ovations and Adamas models, these came along in 1984 and as a keyman for Ovation, I got a call from Dave Bergstrom asking me to test one and it became my favorite Ovation guitar model of all time...I have been very lucky to own a few of these and it is always a treat to open the case and look at it and get to play it.

And I hope you enjoy the video.

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | Absolutely love these SSB models, and particularly this finish, although once you have a custom 1187 SSB, the rest continue life pretty much as wall candy. |
