Location: Texas		Simply, the coolest Ovation model for me...the 1984 Collectors edition.

After having the pleasure of owning many Ovations and Adamas models, these came along in 1984 and as a keyman for Ovation, I got a call from Dave Bergstrom asking me to test one and it became my favorite Ovation guitar model of all time...I have been very lucky to own a few of these and it is always a treat to open the case and look at it and get to play it.

Location: SoCal		You gonna play it and let us hear it, or just talk about it? Beal has one with a -4 top on it and it is the best sounding ssb I've ever played.....

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains		Absolutely love these SSB models, and particularly this finish, although once you have a custom 1187 SSB, the rest continue life pretty much as wall candy.
