Location: Japan		I bought used 1867 Legend recentry.
I want to know production year of it.
Pleae see its label and Lot no.

Anyone know , teach me how to read Lot no.

Location: When??		I only have what info everyone else has access to here on the forum, which seems to be conflicting.

First, the model 1867 Legend shows to have been made between 1990-2001.

HOWEVER.. the serial number in the photo shows that your particular 1867 Legend was made in 1985.

So I guess this doesn't help much. Sorry. Thought I'd post it anyway.

Location: SoCal		I don't know about the chart showing that 1867s were made between 1990-2001. That doesn't jive with what the catalogs say. Look about halfway down on this page http://www.ovationtribute.com/Catalogues/Ovation%201985%20Catalog/O... and you'll see that in 1985, Ovation offered the 1867 (super shallow bowl cutaway Legend).

Look all around at http://www.ovationtribute.com It is a tremendous resource of Ovation material going back to the 1960's. It was put together by our friend Jerome, who lives in France. I have been all thru it and still enjoy going back and browsing.

Location: Boise, Idaho		The chart on Jerome's "Date Your Ovation" section of his site also shows that serial number 336012 would have fallen in the 1985-86 range. I don't know if he was using the same chart as the second link that Love O Fair posted. My guess is the chart in the first link is wrong.

I see my 1867 Legend was product in 1985.
I have a price list attached.
It shows 1867 Legend was sold in 1984-2001.
