Location: Pittsburgh PA | was changing the strings on my CS24PNBM and pulled the piezo out of it's slot. Apparently the metal contact strip became detached and now I can't find it. No amplification! Can one of the piezo's that I see on EBay from China do the same thing? They just plug into the equalizer it appears. Or maybe someone can recommend a direct fit. Thanks in advance-- |

Longer answer... Your guitar has a CP-100 saddle, one piece pickup/saddle.
You can just get a aftermarket undersaddle piezo,
but you will also have to buy another saddle with a flat bottom.
I recommend a Tusq saddle.
I also recommend an Artec PP-607 or a PG-607 pickup. (an SF-607 will work too)

These will plug into the Preamp.
You will probably have to remove the battery box to get to where the pickup plugs-in on an OP4BT preamp.
Cheaper, generic, Chinese undersaddle pickups with work also.

Call them during East Coast Business Hours.

Location: Pittsburgh PA | found the missing contact strip and tried to repair the broken one to no avail. Just ordered another piezo off EBay what about grinding the high spots off the old saddle? Any chance that might work? Thanks for your input-- |

You are in Pittsburgh... There should be a bunch of guitar shops there.
If you find one where they actually do repairs they should have a bunch of saddles, new and old.
Or... you can order saddles from eBay.
HERE
This one is bone and you would have to sand it to size
here
The difference being, some people like the tone of Bone, but others like the consistency plastic.
There will be a undersaddle pickup between the saddle and the top, with kinda nullifies that argument.

Location: Pittsburgh PA | just a follow up to my post--spoke with an Ovation CS rep and they're sending me a new piezo and saddle N/C! Pretty good PR in my opinion |
