OK, I am more than a little curious about the Ebay listings of some fairly collectible Ovations and Hamers (I don't look at anything else) that have a few other commonalities.

- From Japan

- Free Shipping

- same guitar and photos but different stores

Some examples:

They do that allot with the Ovation/Adamas that they have for sale too.
They will have a guitar listed 3 times with different prices, and/or shipping.

Al,
Not looking for that guitar (it is a nice one...) but seeking to understand the business strategy behind selling the exact same unit (photos tell the tale) under several different shop names and at different prices... within the same audience???

When I see plagiarized photos between vendors I immediately think WARNING - FRAUD!

Just curious over the what and why.

I've seen a lot of Adamas guitars on EBay for sale from Japan also... Do you know of ANYONE paying those kind of prices here in the states? Not saying that they're not worth it, as you all know.

The Adamas listed here is a duplicate with different pricing at different sellers. Photos are identical as are serial numbers. At one point, there were three different stores trying to sell this exact guitar all for different prices.

It looks like the old shell game has been updated by these people? The more things change , the more they stay the same.
