CANADA, by my local guitar tech. I'm very much surprised to find out it's worth more than I realized, even despite its age, and a few flaws;- so, yes, I'm taking the plunge, and putting it up for sale, both here in Ottawa, and on OFC, to ( possibly?) help finance purchasing the 1993 Collectors Series, that's been for sale here in my hometown; and which is now still going down in price, even as I type this. ( My 1990 Elite guitar is NOW actually worth MORE than the 1993 Collectors seller's current asking price?! YAY! Who knew?) Soo.. since I'm a newbie at posting something like a guitar FOR SALE ON OFC,..um... how does this work? Do I really need a photo/picture of my guitar, or can I still sell it without one? Yes, I do know the rule about prices here. I'm asking all of these questions before I put a price on it, because I'm technolgically/ digitally challenged. I DO NOT HAVE A DIGITAL CAMERA. Is there some kind of protocol to do this without one here? I have to repeat this whole process with the Canadian Craiglist Clone Called "KIJIJI,"( say that 5 times real fast, eh?) here in Ottawa, so,," This is going to take a lot of work!" Wth the help of OFC, I'll figure it out. Thanks. Mike S. Ottawa, ON. CANADA

Either use your Cell Phone, or your friend's Cell Phone to take photos. Then send the photos to your email address. From there you can do whatever you want with them.

My sister does, and it's got all the bells and whistles on it, camera included, so I'll ask her for the help with my "digitally challenged", part of this exercise. Is there a good average of how many photos are needed to show my guitar? Remember, you are a dealing with a newbie at all this wonderful stuff, so I just might learn something when all is said and done with the camera thingy part of it. Thanks again. Mike S. Ottawa, ON. CANADA.

You want front, back, headstock, wear on first five frets, saddle height, string height at 12th fret, preamp, pick-track area, any boo-boos, and a few "beauty shots"... oh, and the case. Was that helpful?

I think we can get'r done with 8, but knowing me, I'll crash and burn after a baker's dozen! My 'selfie sticks' are called canes, ands I use both of those to hold MY SELF up! That's why I'm getiing my sister to do the camera part. Thanks again, Mike Seguin, Ottawa, ON. CANADA.

Your sister could take that shot. I am guessing that she won't want her Fancy Phone to stray far from her grasp Edited by Old Man Arthur 2016-04-22 10:18 PM

And here I always thought " a beauty shot", was when somebody on my favourite hockey team scored a really fantastic goal? . Yes, my sister is very careful with handling her I-Phone 6. We did use it to tune our guitars at the coffeehouse once last summer. The operative word is ONCE. And so, YES, there is an app for EVERYTHING! Mike Seguin Otttawa, ON. CANADA.
