| Hey all. I got an older ovation from a friend he got it from a pawn shop in the mid 90's. The head and neck were sanded so no serial #. I'm guessing It's either an applause or celebrity. I'm looking to fix the bridge and replace the electronics. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

I am not really sure about the model or brand of that guitar.
I don't believe that is really an Ovation product. But it is a good clone.
I am thinking that it should have a manhole cover on the back.
And those are not Ovation electronics.
But for advice on repairs, browse around...
Especially look in the BFLG Bottom Feeding Luthiery Guild.
There is a long thread about "Tennessee" re-attaching a bridge.
That might be useful if you choose to replace your bridge.
There are other repair tips scattered-around in General Posting, and the Vaults.

| The guitar was repaired once before. The bridge looks as though it came loose and was cracking the front So they reinforced the inside underneath the bridge. The electronics have been replace once as i notice wires have been spliced together. |
