I'm asking 1950 € plus shipping. Before it goes to the 'bay I want to ask OFC'ers first. Guitar was built in 1991, serial# 5702. It's in very clean condition near mint except of two very small (very very small dings!!) on the top of the headstock. Otherwise like new. Guitar was from German Endorser Matthias Jabs of "Scorpions". It's a beauty and sounds KILLER! OHSC with Ovation Logo inside included.

Joined: March 2015 Posts: 50 | Advice: put it on Ebay and see who's biting. It'll easily fetch something on the bay, right? Fo' sho. The Bay! Great guitar for sale sadly amid a stock price drop. But a great guitar. An easy 1200-1499 bucks on the bay. Go get it!

First... 1950 Euro asking price = 2171 USD. Second... eBay takes 10%, then PayPal takes 3%. So if you are gonna put it on eBay you add 15% and list it Fixed Price. And a 1688 just sold for $2400 so there is no reason to give it away.

Joined: August 2003 Posts: 61 Location: Germany | Thanks OMA - thanks Bill. Yes, it's definitely the best twelvestring ever. They get much better during Beals time! I have #260 from 1978 - it was maybe the second serial twelvestring. It sounds good, but not as good as one from 1980/1981. They changed something. Maybe it depends on the beam under the bridge that the sound enhanced to the best twelvestring-sound ever. It was that special little drop. I like them all. But from 1980 up to the end in 1997 they were all that good. Guitar is on ebay right now. And there are tons of offers. It seems that people do know about what this Baby is Edited by Ralph-Flinn 2015-08-02 1:30 PM

(unlike those cheap Yankees ) And even if DW starts making Adamii, it won't be the same. There is nothing like an original. Edited by Old Man Arthur 2015-08-05 12:22 AM
