I have a newer Adamas 2087 (with a textured top) and I don´t like the black colour. Does anyone have experiences how to revarnish such a guitar?

OMA used a can of Krylon spray paint, but I don't think that is the *normal* way to do it! LOL!!!

Actually, I might email John Budny for advice.
Or Jerome at Ovation Tribute.
Someone over there painted an Adamas purple.

I think the purple one was custom made that way. Just send it to OMA!

I've got a 597 in natural graphite I'd love to give a color change too.

Ha,ha, that would be a nice colour, indeed, and quite easy to handle.... Similar to Walt Disney´s "checkerboard" colour in the famous animated film.

Now to get serious again, I saw a breathtaking colouring on an Adamas on the ovationtribute site:http://www.ovationtribute.com/Adamas_Models/Adamas_Proto_Rare_Models/Adamas_I_Prototype_%2379/Adamas_I_Prototype_%2379.html
That looks like being made of old oak boards, unbelievable. And I had in mind someting like that.

Awesome colour. Looks like they used a stained varnish rather than paint. Beal should know.
