Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | I sure miss spending time on this site. I've been busy getting forced into early retirement, and now trying to prep my house for sale. We've decided to sell everything we own (accept for my guitars), and move into a condo in the Gatlinburg area. THEN I should have a lot more time to do the things we've always wanted to do... Like play my Ovations and check out the OFC a little more often. I hope to run into some Ovation fans in that area (: ... Well... Back to painting.

Location: Tennessee | Nice to see you again. It's gotten more interesting around here the last several weeks. I guess congratulations are in order for your life changes. Maybe you can buy a new Ovation soon! |

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | Never had a K1111, but a lot if different ones. I find myself very happy with my 1537 and the 1581-8. To me they are the best sounding and playing I've ever owned. I'm sure some would gladly debate that, but after about 25 different models, these are the ones I chose to keep. Thanks for the welcome... I hope to check in a bit more frequently and throw in my two cents (:
I DO have an interest in the 1547 cutaway currently on ebay though. I would also like to try out that wood topped Adamas (2081WT) sometime, to see how and if it compares to 1537. Looks like it would sound like a good combination of my two current Os. I WOULD like to have the 2081WT with the traditional Adamas I neck, carved bridge, and cauliflower headstock.
