Joined: September 2011 Posts: 402 Location: New Hartford CT | Well, I broke out my old (1981) 1615 Pacemaker..to have strings and set up done at NH repair...unfortunately the guitar has suffered a pretty serious crack! From the bridge through the lower bout. It's a little deeper than I'd like to see. This guitar had been in long-term storage (ok an old closet) and it got bone dry I suspect. Operator error but it had never cracked in the several decades previous. So, it's up to the boys in New Hartford now. No problemas. Is it done yet  | ||

They did such an Incredible job on my Big Red (Custom Balladeer 11112), and Angel (Custom Nakao) is on her way home from them right now. They fixed a horrific crack, and added a Beauty Mark (carved truss rod) for me! I can't wait to see/play her again!!! DW had better have a Custom Shop with John, or I am going to have to come visit them in CA...  Keep us posted on your Pacemaker! The Boys are really quick, they know how we hate having them gone. | ||
