Location: Burbank | Well I have decided to sell my 1663 since I now have a 1674 that I love more. No offense to the 1663 like it has been said here many times, ice creams flavors, some like vanilla some like chocolate. Anyway, I plugged it in last night and the electronics work fine. I have not way to test the stereo output as I dont have a cable. I may try to make one here at work. I am asking $550 shipped in the US, comes with a the soft case I got it with. It is in excellent condition. I will post pics tonight and look it over for any cosmetic issues. The only thing I know of right now is when I bought it I took the strings off to restring and clean it (it was abit grundgy) and saw some pitting or pot holes in the fret board around the 13th and 14th fret. I took it to one if the best luthiers in CA (he travels alot with bands and works on their stuff on tour). Anyway he filled in the pot hole and I cant see it, maybe if I took the strings off but strung you cant tell. Anyway pics later. |

Location: Burbank | You will see on the 3rd pic there is a finish crack along the fret board. There is also 2 eraser sized nicks on the lower bout where you are would normally rest. It comes with a soft case. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I think the 1613s and 1663s were actually "Spanish Pine", which, if you research, is actually cedar. The 1713 and 1763 are just called cedar. I don't know why they assigned different model numbers to guitars that were identical except for the variety of the cedar tops. I'd like to compare them and see if there's a difference, but I'm sure my ears couldn't detect it anyway. |

Location: Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire | I have one of these as well. Picked it up from a friend who was the original owner and it never left his parlor. I haven't used it often but did play it for a friends wedding ceremony recently! A different sound but nice for finger picking if you're into that style of playing. The stereo aspect is nice. I made a cable to use the stereo output with two small amps. Every other string is on its own channel. Nice effect! Its a keeper for me! Also Kyser has a wider capo for a Classical guitar with a wider neck. That works out nice for key changes, etc. |
