It does not have a mark on it. Seriously. It is in MINT condition. This guitar was hanging in my shop on consignment a few years ago. I wanted to buy it for myself but couldn't afford it at the time so I put it up for sale here and then before I could sell it the guy changed his mind and took it back. Eventually he decided to sell it again and sold it to a lady I know. She just traded it in at another music store here in the Hills for - get this- a crappy Taylor. I just bought it from that music store for $750!!! With the original brown case. Even the case is in great condition. You talk about tone. Holy cow, this thing rings like a bell. Loud, bassy, balanced, and low low action. Yeah I know, I need pictures but the guitar isn't even here yet. I couldn't leave the shop for the two or more hours it would take to make the round trip so a friend offered to go up for me. He just called and told me how much to deduct from my checkbook. He won't be back for a few hours yet 'cause he has some more errands to run. I am SO happy right now!!!

And Nancy, I have several Adamas' and although they may be just a little louder than the CL, the CL has that "wood ring" that the Adamas doesn't have. I absolutely love this guitar. As soon as he brings it I am taking it home. I keep a lot of my guitars here at the shop but I won't risk anyone grabbing this one and putting a scratch on it.

The 83 Collector I got our daughter had at least one cracked one. JB sent me some new ones. Better get in touch before the supply runs out, if it hasn't already.

I just got a 1651 that has broken stacked knobs too... I only play accoustic, but I would like to replace these just because the Guitar is in such great shape!

I know an upgrade would be nice but I hardly ever play plugged in anyway. If I do have to plug in I'll take an Adamas with the OP24. That's my favorite electronics and besides, I don't want this CL to get bumped or scratched so it's staying at my house. I AM playing out on Easter Sunday come to think of it but I'll be playing banjo at that one. (They need to level the stage.)
