Looking to buy a 1680-NWT if anyone has one they would like to sell. I am willing to pay a more than fair price and not try to beat someone up on a price. It needs to be in excellent condition please.

Not that many were made. Less than 100 I think.

I know! I suspect most of the members here own them because they sound so good!

That is the guitar I will never part with... It is the best I have ever played.

Good luck on the search.

these guitars ARE great much better than a UTE but they were about 1K more than a UTE so they did not sell well.

I had one once and I loved the sound but didn't care for the wide neck.

I know the guy who bought this one, he is (maybe was) a member here: Jürgen Strupperich!
I sold my 1681-7 to him and after I bought a 1680, he was so hot that he bought this guitar in the Netherlands.
But Jürgen was very ill, he has blood-cancer or something like that. Since 3 Years I have nothing heard from him....

You have p.m. And email.

Patch,
You always have right of first offer on this guitar. You've wanted one for too long to disregard.

Ken.

Thanks Ken, but the I'm in no position to buy anything right now. I could maybe work a trade, but that's about all I can do for a while.

I'll keep my hopes up though.
