Joined: October 2013 Posts: 57 | Location Montreal, Canada I bought it from Lost Art Vintage less than a year ago but I decided to part with it. I'm selling it because the rounded back just doesn't work for me, it keeps colliding with my rounded belly . I ended up never playing it and always reverting to my old crappy 200$ guitar. There's 2 access holes in the back. When I bought it from Al, it said on his web site that it's a prototype and that they would put two holes there to be able to "go in" and check the bracing. It's in very nice condition with no damage of any kind on the body, the neck or the headpiece. It looks like it was previously owned by a smoker or that it has spent quite some time in clubs because it smells like smoke a bit. It usually goes away after a few minutes out of the case. I wash the inside with a damp cloth and soft soap but the smell remains a bit. I think maybe one of those Arm & Hammer pucks would take care of it but I haven't tried it. There is an issue with the 1/4" jack, it makes cracking sounds when the cable plug moves too much. I'm sure somebody more handy than me can fix this. When I got it the preamp was not working at all, I found there was a loose wire which I fixed and I put a new battery in. The case is in near mint condition. Asking $1,500 + Shipping Use this link for pictures http://1drv.ms/TU9EFs They are all high resolution pictures. They're not smudges on the guitar, it's a reflexion of my ceiling fan. Time to take new pictures I guess.

Did I scare potential buyers by being honest about the issue with the pickup ? Is it just a model that people are not interested in ? I mean granted that it's not in the top ones, it's still an Adamas !!! Is it because it's a prototype ? I hope not, I'm not even sure about this Is it because it's physically in Canada ? I hope not because that should not be an issue for the buyer. P.S: The link I posted in the first post is for high-resolution pictures. when viewing an image you can right-click and select "View original" to get to Edited by EricGagne 2014-10-16 9:02 PM

Is it just a model that people are not interested in? Possibly. Is it because it's physically in Canada? Maybe you should give a shipping estimate. Personally, I cannot afford that. But I wanted you to know that it is visible. Also, the economy sucks. GC and MF ain't doing too well either. And I see really nice guitars just languishing on eBay.

But really am looking for either a non-cutaway/textured top Adamas or a nice dreadnaught (e.g. Guild or Larrivee). So hang in there, I am also having a hard time finding something I like. I suppose it wasn't too smart of me not to set my price in USD so...... New offer: $1300 USD and I will pay for shipping in Canada and continental US (with $1000 coverage, that's the max they will do).
