| Hi just recently discovered Ovation bass guitars. Someone is offering me a 1967 Typhoon III fretless bass for $700. In very good working order and good shape. No case - I am not a fretless player - is this worth buying as a collectible? Also what kind of case would fit this guitar. Thank you. |

There is another on listed on eBay for close to a Thousand bucks.
Are they collectable? It depends on what you are into...
They are Rare.
If you wanted this to Play, you would have to decide on the value.

Location: The Great Pacific Northwest | The Fretless ones are the rarest of the production Storm Series. One that's in good condition/playable... priceless if you want a really nice fretless bass. OMA really has the best advice above. Decide what it's worth to you. |

| Thank you guys. If it was the i or ii wouldn't hesitate. Maybe it is time to try a fretless. Do you know what type of case would fit this bass? |
