here are pics..I have seen many online but I cant tell the difference and teh gutar is not with me at the moment so i cant check the serial. but it is at least 15 years old. I bought it from a professional musician back then but I'm not sure if its low end or mid...I probably couldn't tell by playing as i am not very good. Turns out Im more of a drummer
I guess i am trying to determine if it is an applause (low end) or an standard elite? When i took into guitar store to have it looked at they didnt seem super knowledgeable about ovations and all he said was it looked like it was not a USA made guitar. Said strings were old and too high and anyone who played at all would know that...Oh well , I guess every profession has its arrogant types
It does have gold tuners which noen of the models i looked at have..so ? |

Location: Jet City | You can't tell the manufacture date by a serial number on an Asian made Ovation. That only works with USA models. |
