rusty adamas strings

Subject: rusty adamas strings

I ordered some Adamas strings from amazon along with some other things and both sets had rust on the unwound strings.Has anyone else had this problem and is it common with Adamas strings?

I had it on a set. The rust was near the ball end so it did not affect the feel to my left hand. They played fine.
